Our Paddle Board Rentals are Simple and Convenient
You don’t need any prior skills or knowledge to enjoy a day on a rental board. Inflatable boards, like the ones we carry, pack down tight into a backpack, so they’re easy to carry and transport. Once you’re at the water, setup is simple. Just inflate your board, put the fin in place, put your paddle together, and you’re ready to go!
A Paddle Board is a Multi-Use Play Platform
A paddle board’s simple shape provides limitless modes of activity (or inactivity)! You can stand, kneel, sit, lie down, or jump off! You can quickly adjust your position on the board to rest, alleviate discomfort, or increase the intensity of your exercise. Some folks even use their paddle board as a floating yoga mat. Unlike a kayak or canoe, you don’t have to worry about letting water in, so you can splash around as much as you want.
Paddleboarding is a Low-Impact Full-Body Workout
Much like skiing or snowboarding, paddleboarding is both a power and balance sport. The paddle stroke employs full-body coordination and strength, while balancing on the board keeps the stabilizing muscles working. You can stand or kneel for different levels of difficulty, or challenge yourself in wind or choppy water. If you’re feeling really ambitious, you could even mix in some yoga or calisthenics for an extra test of strength and balance. Perhaps the best part of paddle board fitness is that it’s very gentle on the joints and skeleton. The low-impact work of paddling and balancing is naturally spread through the body without putting undue strain on any one area.
